Welcome back!

Tomorrow I start Week 2 of Ignite. If you've done One3One, then you've seen the "Am I Fat Burning?" checklist partway through that looks something like this:

Decreased hunger? - Somewhat

Decreased cravings for sugar? - Yes and No - Yes, because I find my self-control to be MUCH more in check (except for that homemade rice krispy from Munch n Mingle Thursday!). No, because if you put a bowl or cereal or plate of cake in front of me and said, "It's okay, eat!" I wouldn't second-guess you. On the other hand, the thought of processed and fast foods like fries and burgers don't make my mouth water like it did 2 weeks ago.

Decreased feelings of deprivation? - Meh. I love these recipes, but it is still new and we are still learning. In a way, it feels like we are a little "deprived" because we actually have to work for our food! So, jury's out on this.

Decreased water retention? - I think so. I drink more and I pee more. So, is it due to drinking more water, or is it due to the diet regimen? I'm not sure. Do you have any opinions on this as someone doing One3One or someone considering One3One?

Increase in mental clarity? - Not yet.

Increase in energy? - Not yet. As I reported last time, I go home and I am SO fatigued. However, the last few days have not been so tiring. We went on a nice hike after work on Thursday. So, I expect my energy to keep increasing now that I am used to being off such a high percentage of carbs.

Now on to Troubleshooting:

Initial constipiation? - YES.

Short-term decline in athletic performance? - N/A

Short-term fatigue/Leg cramps? - YES and YES

Flu like symptoms/Fruity Breath? - No

Elevated heart rate? - No....?

Each one of these troubleshooting issues requires either more water or more fiber. I've been more intentional about the water and the cramps have subsided. The fiber...well, after getting some great encouragement from the dieticians in 131 I learned about veggies low in carbs that pack some good fibers. I've been trying to incorporate those better, like zucchini and spinach.

If you'd like to watch me talk about my current "aha" from the One3One Movement, check out the video below:

Alrighty people - let's get going on the intermittent fasting! If you are curious, check out the 131 diet using my ambassador link here!

Until next time.

Bisous,
